Each year during National Book Month, we celebrate by sharing the joy of stories with our community’s youngest readers.
Join us for Thanks for Reading, a special event where volunteers spend 30 minutes reading with children ages 0–3 at one of our four locations.
Just a short time together can spark imagination, create connections and inspire a lifelong love of reading.

holiday happiness 2025
Holiday Happiness is designed to provide holiday gifts for Kids Incorporated’s client families whose children would not otherwise receive holiday gifts.
Businesses, organizations and individuals shop for family members during this family event, utilizing a wish list developed by the family with the assistance of a Kids Incorporated Family Advocate.
KidsFest 2026 : Saturday, April 11
A beloved family event celebrated in our community since 2001, our annual KidsFest is a day of free kids’ activities and entertainment for the whole family at Cascades Park in Tallahassee.
More businesses and nonprofits than ever before will be coming to Cascades Park to join the celebration. Each exhibitor will have a hands-on children’s activity for your child to enjoy FREE of charge. Admission, entertainment and activities are completely free.
